Over 70 students from Floreat Park Primary School were involved in the community project which has added colour and vibrancy to the Howtree Place Laneway. The mural is influenced by the flora and fauna of nearby Bold Park and features the Splendid Fairy Wren.
The students involved took part in a series of hands-on workshops with Artist, Melski McVee and were treated to a step-by-step tutorial in her unique stain glass signature style.
Year 5 students then joined the artist at Floreat Forum to participate in a supersized, paint-by-numbers activity to create the wonderful addition to the laneway.
